Well, many of you already know, but we had a serious accident at our house. Colt (sometimes known as Crash) tumbled down the stairs last Thursday. I saw him hit his head on the hardwood floor and when I picked him up he had a mouth full of blood. I was home alone with the kids because Jason is in Pocatello all week so I picked up my phone and called him. I told him what happened and that Colt's upper right tooth looked like a buck tooth. Jason got off the phone with me and called a few dentists (we ONLY have about 8 in our ward) and they all said that it would be fine. I didn't think so but I went along with the verdict. When Jason got home on Friday night he couldn't believe how bad his tooth looked. It was poking out at a 45 degree angle and it made his lip stick out as well. We called another dentist and he said that either his tooth was broken or we were going to have to push it back into place. Saturday morning Jason took Colt to the dentist for x-rays and....it was broken and had to be pulled. So my sweet baby boy only has one front tooth now. I think it has been harder on me than on Colt- he is a little trooper. He still can't eat pickles (or any food for that matter) like he used to but overall he is doing well. And hey, it will only be 5 or 6 years til his upper right tooth returns. :)
